Eric Aasen serviced and gave us a good orientation today for an Arctic Spa we've inherited with a new house purchase. In short... Aasen was awesome!

I scheduled a visit to troubleshoot some issues with our 7 year old hot tub. Eric reached out an hour before getting here, which I requested and needed to be able to get here from work. Very, and I mean very promptly had his tools down to the back yard, tub panels open and... comically confirmed the issue he had said it likely was as he was unloading and getting ready. Eric was great. I had to be there because we needed to test some connectivity issues with my phone and the spa boy. I was trying so hard not to be the "staring over his shoulder guy" but he is so inviting and knowledgeable. He showed me and talked me through operations of different things in our spa including the issues we were having and other neat tidbits that help to provide all our enjoyment with the hot tub! We have another simple issue with one of the fountains but it will nee to be done when we empty and change the water. Its simple but i can tell from whatvhe showed me, will be a bit cumbersome and annoying working in a tight spot to replace and replumb piping in some tight quarters. All I sensed from Eric though, was a positive explanation on how he will do it and the only thing standing in his way, is we will need the tub emptied so pipes are free of water (ps... VERY simple issue with one of the 4 fountains havig developed a clog!). Monica and Tania were easy to deal with at the schediling end of things. Marc is always there in the Duncan Store front and helped me with some earlier info before i had things fully scheduled. Sorry, had to say a lot above here because I got a lot! We know with absolute, 100% certainty, we use our spa way, and I mean WAY more than average folks. Arctic Spas has designed and produced an absolute industry leading spa and tremedously easy to service. They surround it with excellent salespeople, efficient admin for service and most inportantly, very personable, knowledeable technicians tweaking little issues and setting them right! And let me give John a little thumbs up too! The little videos online are great. Giving info on things that might stretch out 2-6 months more use on an salt cell and just nice stuff for some of the DIY people out there, saving them a buck instead of only relying on service calls... fantastic. Thank you so much for helping me out when I called with all my questions about pH and alkalinity today! We’ve only had our spa for a month, and we didn’t get a full walkthrough from the Arctic Spa dealer we bought it from, so it left me feeling a bit lost. Sabrina was available to answer my questions on Christmas Eve when our dealer was closed for the holidays. Much appreciated!

John was very helpful with advice on appropriate chemicals for our hot tub. Saved us cost and provided a better routine for keeping the tub balanced.

I needed to replace the 14 year old jets in my Arctic Fox Spa. Jenny Seredocka at the Victoria store did a great job to help me. I was unsure which jets I needed, as the jets have changed slightly over the years. She loaned me some jets, so that I could test fit them and ensure that I received the correct ones. She managed to put together all of the jets I needed from in store inventory. She was very pleasant and helpful.

I have been absolutely blown away from the service that Eric gave me regarding an issue I was having with my spa. He not only returned my email after hours with a phone call he stuck with me untill he got through my issue without even having to come out. Eric was extremely polite and helpful and definitely set the bar with his knowledge and professionalism. Again the service from Arctic Spa Duncan was top notch.

I have been very happy with my Artic Fox. Just right for our family and runs perfectly. Always able to get any (and there hasn’t been much) products I need from the Parksville store. Highly recommend going with a salt water spa.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eric from Arctic Spa came to put a new side panel on my hot tub and did an excellent job. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, clearly an expert at what he does. His friendly and professional attitude made the entire experience a pleasure. All round, he’s a top lad! Highly recommend Eric Aasen for any hot tub needs.

I stopped in to have the water quality tested for my spa and met Sabrina. She was very friendly and knowledgeable on spa chemicals and takes a holistic approach to managing water quality which I like. I am now considering switching to a salt water system and will be back to see her if I do.

I want to buy some filters today for my party 910 spa and Jennifer, who is new Spoke with me about Cold dip tubs, which could be a good option for me in the future thank you!

We are in the deciding stage of buying a hot tub or spa and we are pretty keen on salt water so we have been dealing with Arctic Spa. We drove to Parksville to wet test a tub and Sabrina helped us so much. Her knowledge and care was outstanding even though we will be dealing locally. She answered all of our questions and encouraged us to try multiple options. She explained the full line up of tubs and clarified the information on salt water upkeep. We bought our spa about a year ago and Ryan from the Victoria office has helped me through all of the learning curves. I even stop him on the street to say hi when I see him working in the neighbourhood. His friendliness and knowledge are outstanding!

Our tech Eric and Delivery Driver Paul were prompt, curtious and respectful of the surroundings. Instructions for maintenance and use were explained in simple terms making it less overwhelming. Eric Aesen came to our house for a troubleshoot/repair. He was polite, helpful, communicative and spent the time to figure out a weird" diagnosis! Highly recommend!

I had an issue with the YESS system on my 2022 Kodiak and I reached out to John, the owner, for advice. John could not have been nicer. He quickly responded to me, providing videos and taking me through the procedure to set the valves correctly inside the shell. It turns out that the valves had been misaligned for the entire 2.5 years I’ve owned the tub and the YESS system was not operating anywhere near full efficiency. He helped me avoid a service call. He saved me money. Here’s the thing. I reached out to him blindly. I live in the US and didn’t buy my tub from him. He didn’t have to do any of this. This is how I know he’s a good person. This is the dealer you want to buy from. One who is truly in it to ensure his customers are happy with what they’ve purchased and that they’re getting everything out of what they’ve purchased. John is good people. He takes care of his customers. He’s obviously there when you need him. If you’re in B.C. and looking for a hot tub, this is the guy you need to buy from. You’ll be getting a great tub, first off, but for as long as you own it you’ll have stand-up support. Thats getting harder and harder to find these days.

Great service. After a phone call an email to edit this review for a name, I'm questioning a little on my 5 star. I like the place in Parksville in general,EVERYONE I've encountered has been delightful. I have not purchased my hot tub there,however I do go there to buy my chemicals. The last 2 times Sabrina has been the one who has helped me. ( PS Sabrina was not the one pressuring me to add a name and edit this review 😉)

Absolutely fabulous! I was “kicking tires” and called Sabrina at the Parksville location just to get some early quotes. She sent me options and information right away and followed up with a call. And while we hadn’t decided if we were even getting a swim spa at that time, she sent more options when promos changed and invited us to test out the Fisher swim spa on site. I was interested but my husband wasn’t convinced. I did a swim test at a competitor on a Friday, and we tested the Fisher swim spa the next day. My husband decided that day that we had to get one. With the jets and the swim jets tested out, we couldn’t believe how strong the swim current jets are. Far stronger than a far more expensive spa that i tested; and with variable speed and the ability to adjust the flow up or down at angles, it gave us more than we expected- if you turn them on high, they will push you across the pool so definitely good for working out swimming or walking or water running. The next decision was size- we went with the 15’ size with the lounger and we couldn’t be happier. Delivery was suddenly available due to a cancellations so We scrambled to get the electrical ready and a cement pad poured- I recommend going bigger than you think to ensure you have a comfortable amount of space around the spa. Sabrina answered my questions every step of the way while we weighed our cover options and salt water or regular chemical options; and she was patient with all of the questions we had and always had the information we needed to help on our decision. And the delivery team was amazing. Paul backed in and swung it into place with Eric hooking it up and making sure it was squared up within a millimeter then got everything running- Very conscientious about getting everything right. We love the spa and got the salt water system because it is far less maintenance and makes your skin feel great without any harsh chemicals- and less often water replacement - this was important to us being on a smaller island where water is at a premium. I just picked up our roll cover today and can’t wait to get it in place. I can’t say enough about the service from Sabrina and the team at Arctic Spa on Parksville. We are pleased with every aspect of our purchase and look forward to enjoying our swim spa year round. Thanks Sabrina and everyone at Arctic Spa Parksville!!!! Michele and Dan Scott
